Winter 2025-2026 Modified, JV, and Varsity Sports Tryout Schedule and Contact Information
IMPORTANT NOTE: This schedule is for Modified, JV, and Varsity student-athletes who have registered for winter sports via Synergy in grades 7-12. If you are a 7th or 8th grade student who wishes to try out for a JV or Varsity team, you must register on Synergy for the Athletic Placement Process (APP) prior to trying out. If you have previously completed this process, it is not necessary to complete the process a second time. Questions about APP should be directed to the athletic office.
Below you find the tryout schedule and locations along with contact information for all winter Modified, JV, and Varsity teams.
All schedules are subject to change due to weather or other circumstances. The Athletic Department will send out any changes for the first day via ParentSquare. Coaches will make announcements to their teams if changes are necessary after the first day.

Winter 2025-2026 Sports Registration for Grades 7-12 is Now OPEN!

Varsity and JV tryouts begin on November 17th and Modified tryouts begin on November 24th. Go to chesterufsd.org and click on and log into SYNERGY to register for winter sports. You must be registered through Synergy to try out for a winter sports team. All student-athletes must have a valid physical no older than one year on October 17th. If you have question about your physical, call Chester Academy at (845) 469-2231 ext 3316. Questions about registration, call extension 3302.
Contact information for all coaches and a detailed tryout schedule will be sent out during the first week of November.
