Thank you for your patience as we waited for the level of snow melt to determine what locations are available for next week's tryout schedule. Below you will find a preliminary schedule for the first week of JV and Varsity tryouts. Keep in the mind that weather may still impact the schedule so be on the lookout for adjustments on Monday.

Varsity/JV Baseball

Girls Varsity Lacrosse (merge with Burke Catholic)
No transportation will be provided if you plan to try out for this team. You will be required to secure transportation to Burke for all practices and games. You may ride the Burke bus to and from games. Drop off and pick up will be at Burke High School.

Modified tryouts begin Monday, March 16, 2026.

Varsity and JV tryouts begin on March 9th and Modified tryouts begin on March 16th. Starting February 9th, you can go to chesterufsd.org and click on and log into SYNERGY to register for spring sports. You must be registered through Synergy to try out for a spring sports team. All student-athletes must have a valid physical no older than one year on March 9th. If you have question about your physical, call Chester Academy at (845) 469-2231 ext 3316. Questions about registration, call extension 3302.

Contact information for all coaches and a detailed tryout schedule will be sent via ParentSquare and posted on the Chester UFSD website during the last week of February. Be aware that winter weather may affect field availability and can significantly alter the tryout schedule. Be prepared for adjustments as we approach the first days of tryouts.
