LEGAL NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED ADOPTION OF VOLUNTEER FIRE/EMT EXEMPTION, DISABLED LOW INCOME EXEMPTION, SENIOR EXEMPTIONS INCOME LIMITS AND THE OPT-OUT OF SOLAR AND BUSINESS INVESTMENT EXEMPTIONS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Education of the Chester Union Free School District shall hold a public hearing on the 14th day of February, 2024, at 7:00 P.M., at the Chester Academy, Chester, New York, for the purpose of discussion of the Board of Education adopting the Volunteer Fire and Ambulance Property Tax Exemption pursuant to §466-a, The Disabled/Low income exemption pursuant to §459-c, Senior Citizen exemption income limits pursuant to§467 and the opt-out of Solar pursuant to §487 and Business Investment exemptions pursuant to §485-b of the Real Property Tax Law for assessment rolls prepared on the basis of the taxable status dates occurring on or after March 1, 2024.
