Community Survey

  • Your opinion matters. Take the Maple Avenue survey!

To facilitate an exchange of opinions on the future of the Maple Avenue building, we're utilizing an innovative survey platform called ThoughtExchange. This tool allows you to anonymously share your thoughts, ideas, and concerns, as well as rate those shared by others.

    For more information visit: https://www.thoughtexchange.com

Your participation involves answering two multiple-choice questions and providing one open-ended response. In addition, you'll have the opportunity to review and rate ideas shared by others. This collaborative approach ensures that we gain a holistic understanding of the community's priorities.

Your thoughts and ratings are completely confidential. You're encouraged to return as often as you'd like to engage with new ideas and help us identify the most pressing areas of focus.

We encourage you to share your thoughts openly while also considering the perspectives of others as we work in partnership to make the best decision for our students, families, and the Chester Community.

    Thought Exchange Validity

Thought Exchange has several tools in place to ensure the validity of how Exchanges are run, how thoughts are presented for rating, how leaders choose to moderate the incoming thoughts, etc., that prevent one person from having undue influence on the results. A few examples include:

    • The thought sorting algorithm prevents participants from returning to the Exchange and rating the same thoughts repeatedly.
    • There is a moderation setting to filter out duplicate thoughts shared by the same participant so that thoughts cannot be copied and pasted over and over.
    • Leaders and participants all have the power to report thoughts that need closer attention.
