There is a New York State Education Department (NYSED) program that permits physically and emotionally appropriate students to try out for an athletic team that is outside of their grade placement. It is called the Athletic Placement Process. The process allows 7th and 8th grade students to try out for JV and Varsity level interscholastic competition. The process must be followed step by step and you may not move on to the next step until the previous is completed. Please fill out the permission form linked below to begin the process.
