The Chester Academy would like to thank our local Lowe's store in Chester for being selected for their Community Heroes Project. Led my store manager Bill Lapasnick, store associate Sam Forshay, & Chester Union Free School District Director of Buildings and Grounds Jim Frees, a team of dedicated employees volunteered their time, skills and labor to help beautify the rear patio of the Chester Academy. The team built two large paver planter boxes and six picnic tables stained in Chester blue. All materials for this project were donated by our local Lowe's. The Lowe's volunteers did an amazing job and we are truly grateful!
